Irene Eaton attended Westborough Senior Girls' School, Southend in the early 1930s. She has also been interviewed. Her work includes not only her notes, but also her drawings, cyclostyled illustrations (often coloured in) and materials such as cigarette cards, newspaper clippings and advertisements which reference historical figures.
