Where Bombs Fell is a mapping project of the city of Sheffield charting sites where bombs fell during the second world war. The map uses chronological and locational narratives in an attempt to make the city more legible. Each node on the map is marked in the physical landscape with a bronze roundel designed by Pam Bowman. There are a range of artefacts that make up the printed map, designed by Jamie Titterton in collaboration with Dust. Each location is also marked with a bluetooth i-beacon where participants can connect to an archive of digital resources. A series of walks connect city narratives together. The walks also act as a method to gather and record a variety of perspectives. Where Bombs Fell is an emerging semi-permanent commemorative public artwork.
