This paper presents a hybrid model for regional aircraft evaluation, based on the two main approaches\ud proposed in the literature, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Fuzzy Set Theory (FST). The\ud proposed model combines the strengths of the two approaches, overcoming some of their weaknesses.\ud AHP is preserved for criteria weights determination whereas FST is adopted to deal with aircraft\ud performances. The hybrid model is implemented to compare three regional aircrafts. The results highlight\ud how the proposed model can be useful both for manufacturing companies, in their process of designing\ud future regional aircraft, and for airlines to support the choice of the aircraft that better satisfy their\ud requirements.
