The application specialties of the functional and activity approach to professional competence estimation of the preschool teacher are considered in the article. The instrumental maintenance of the preschool teachers professional competence estimation is offered.

Purpose: to consider specialties of the functional and activity approach application to estimation of the preschool teacher professional competence. To approve instrumental maintenance of the preschool teachers professional competence estimation.

Method or realization methodology of the work: methodology of pedagogical research.

Results:  The application specialties of the functional and activity approach to professional competence estimation of the preschool teachers and instrumental maintenance of its estimation can be introduced into the preschool education system as tested in the experimental frames in more than 50 preschool educational institutes.

Applicable scope of results: preschool education practice.
