Citrus greening disease or Huanglongbing (HLB) is an epidemic bacterial infection that has devastated citrus industries across the globe. HLB leads to a reduction in fruit quality, decrease in overall fruit production and eventual death of the citrus tree.
The disease is associated with this bacterium Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas), is transmitted by the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP).

Objective 1: Improve the current psyllid genome through manual curation.

Objective 2: Characterize genetic variation for CLas transmission between field collected ACP isofemale line.
