Ferocen je spoj koji pokazuje iznimnu stabilnost zbog svojeg aromatičnog karaktera i ima bitnu ulogu u suvremenoj medicini jer posjeduje jedinstvena svojstva kao što su netoksičnost i stabilnost pri fiziološkim uvjetima. Derivati ferocena pokazuju široku primjenu u kliničkim ispitivanjima. U ovom radu je opisana sinteza potencijalno biološki aktiviranog konjugata ferocena i O-kinolina povezanih 1,2,3-triazolnom poveznicom koja je provedena klasičnom reakcijom "klik kemije", 1,3-dipolarnom cikloadicijom O-alkin kinolina i ferocenskog azida uz prisutnost bakra kao katalizatora. Struktura priređenih spojeva potvrđena je IR i NMR spektroskopijom. Ferrocene is a chemical compound that exhibits exceptional stability due to its aromatic character. It holds an important role in modern medicine given its unique properties as nontoxicity and stability amid physiological conditions. Ferrocene derivatives are displaying widespread use in clinical testing. In this paper it has been described the synthesis of the potentially biologically activated conjugate of ferrocene with O-quinoline joined 1,2,3,-triazole connection vis-a-vis classic reaction "click chemistry", 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of O-alkyne quinoline and ferrocene azide with copper as a catalyst. Structures of synhtesized compounds were validated by IR and NMR spectroscopic analysis.
