Die Wirksamkeit von Bitumenemulsionen bei der Wiederverwertung pechhaltiger Straßenausbaustoffe hängt von ihrer Fähigkeit zur Immobilisierung der im Pech enthaltenen PAK und Phenole sowie von ihrer bautechnischen Eignung bei der Verarbeitung eines konkreten Straßenausbaustoffes ab. Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der Untersuchung und modellhaften Beschreibung des Brechverhaltens handelsüblicher Bitumenemulsionen sowie anhand von pechhaltigem Modellmischgut mit deren Fähigkeiten bei der Einkapselung von PAK. Anhand realer Straßenausbaustoffe werden die tatsächlich erreichbaren umweltrelevanten und bautechnischen Eigenschaften systematisch verifiziert. The effectiveness of bitumen emulsions in the recycling of bituminous road construction materials depends on their ability to encapsulate the PAH and Phenols contained in the pitch (tar) as well as on their technological suitability in the processing of a particular recycling material. The work comprehends the detailed investigation and modeling of the dissociation process of commercial bitumen emulsions as well as investigations concerning their abilities to encapsulate PAH using a bituminous model mixture. The actually achievable technologically and environmentally relevant properties are determined systematically with existing bituminous road construction materials.
