EP 2072102 A1 UPAB: 20090710 NOVELTY - The method involves conducting a liquid base material e.g. rape oil, over a column such that a fat associated material e.g. triterpene, is adsorbed partially on a material with molecular identification e.g. polymer. The material with molecular identification is contacted with a liquid, gaseous or vaporous solvent i.e. overcritical fluid, such that the fat associated material is desorbed and partially dissolved in the liquid, gaseous or vaporous solvent. The solvent is separated from the fat associated material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The base material is selected from the group consisting of rape oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, cotton seed oil, groundnut oil, maize oil, olive oil, linseed oil, soya bean oil, oil methyl ester, fatty acid distillate from the biodiesel production and/or the production of oil and glycerine phase from the biodiesel production and/or the production of oils. USE - Method for obtaining a fat associated material e.g. triterpene, tocochromanol, vitamin, provitamin, sterol, steroid, carotenoid, tocopherol, tocotrienol, gossypol, Phosphatidylcholine, and glucosinolate, from a fuel i.e. biofuel, oil and fat (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method obtains the fat associated material from the fuel selectively and in high purity degree.
