OpenAIRE is the European Open Access infrastructure that helps realize Open Science for the benefit of society, innovation and industry. OpenAIRE2020, funded by the EC H2020 programme is the current project phase, investigates a full complement of scholarly communication building blocks and their integration.

As part of this effort, OpenAIRE2020 invites tenders to assist the consortium in establishing a legal entity/person with appropriate governance mechanisms and structure that will carry out the main activities of OpenAIRE as a long-term, sustainable organization. The legal entity must start its operations from October 2016 onwards.

The work will be overseen by Prof. Mike Chatzopoulos (OpenAIRE2020 Coordinator, University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications) and Natalia Manola (OpenAIRE2020 Project Manager at University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications) who will be the points of communication to the OpenAIRE2020 Project Steering Committee (PSC).
