Towards a sustainable research in human rights, drug policy and new technologies
The Knowmad Institut has chosen OpenAIRE CONNECT service to foster accessibility to resources in ethnobotany, drug policy, sustainable development, special population and human rights. Experts from the Knowmad Institut will curate the selection of resources available to discover via a dedicated gateway. To track the research activities, Knowmad has chosen the Institutional Monitor Dashboard.
The new collaboration between the OpenAIRE and Knowmad Institut facilitates the researchers, policymakers, activists and experts to discover publications, data, software, and other research products related to the research areas of Knowmad Institut through OpenAIRE CONNECT Gateway. These materials will be available in English, Spanish and German, as multilingualism is important for both organisations. In addition, by tracking the research with OpenAIRE MONITOR, Knowmad Institut will improve the quality and provenance of its institutional scorecard data with additional metrics and impact indicators provided by OpenAIRE.
"This alliance between OpenAIRE and the Knowmad Institut contributes to our mutual commitment to Open Science. From now on, researchers and decision-makers will be able to more easily find open-access research inputs related to human rights, sustainable development, drug policy, new technologies, and ethnobotany. This collaboration provides a practical enhancement in strengthening the link between Open Science and the validation of socially related SDGs, also improving the linkages between Open Science contributions and evidence-based public and private policymaking." Rev. Martin Díaz, Co-Founder and CEO of the Knowmad Institut, Ambassador for One Young World.
"OpenAIRE builds open scholarly communication services that promote Open Science and interconnect people, institutions and research outputs. Our new partnership with Knowmad Institut aims to support knowledge sharing, increase Knowmad's impact and outreach and highlight the added value of language diversity in scholarly communication. "Natalia Manola, OpenAIRE CEO
