Slovak Centre for Scientific and Technical Information is organising 2 OA courses for researchers/librarians based on UNESCO curriculum. Those who decide to attend exams will recieve certificate accredited from Ministry of Education and are able to train people at their organisation. Course is for free and held in Slovak language.
First course "Introduction to open access" contains 5 topics: scholarly communication process, history and development of open access, rights and licenses, advocacy for open access and open access research impacts.
Second course "Open Access Infrastructure" is about open access repositories, open access publishing softwares used for open access journals, publishing policies in Slovakia, open educational sources, open and FAIR data and data curation.
Except these 2 courses, webinars on different topics are held throughout year.
