Welcome TU Dublin aboard!

Dec 19, 2022

TU Dublin officially joined OpenAIRE in the autumn of 2022 after its application was approved during the OpenAIRE General Assembly in Cyprus.

Established in 2019, it is Ireland's first technological university. TU Dublin is listed among the Top Young Universities Worldwide in the Times Higher Education ranking and it is a member of EUt+, a consortium of eight universities across Europe, forming the European University of Technology. OpenAIRE and EUt+ teams joined forces and are currently working to improve the integration and discoverability of research results, showcase the synergies and connections and aggregate the work from all partners across this pan-European network of Universities.

TU Dublin is now a part of our shared knowledge network of 50+ OpenAIRE organisations. This unique network helps our members to learn from peers on Open Science and be active and visible in the national and global Open Science community.  By joining OpenAIRE, institutions can ensure they adopt community-set standards and best practices and use state-of-the-art services.

"We are on a strategic journey to becoming an open research environment" Dr. John Donovan, Head of Research at TU Dublin.

We at OpenAIRE are excited to accompany our new member on this journey.
